As you can see, we had lots of show & tell this April. We had fiber (and shawl) from New Zealand, hand dyed sock blanks being knit into socks, an overshot table runner, hand spinning of qiviuk/silk, and a lovely baby blanket done in Rose Path.

Make sure to read the minutes to find out about upcoming events for the remainder of the year.

2/3/18 Meeting

We had a great meeting this Saturday. Show and Tell is one of our favorite parts of the meeting. We had quite a variety. It ranged from a knitting project using yarn from the Annual Dog Party, hand spun hat (first hand spinning from a member), projects from the  studio (including a vertical warping board with a heck block), sheep breed shawl project, knitted shawl, a baby sling, rigid heddle scarves, and roving from Iceland.  If this doesn’t motivate you, I don’t know what will.

Our program was on our social presence. This website was explained to members. We also discussed Instagram, our closed Facebook group, and the open Facebook group. We looked at Ravelry to see how our guild library is being organized. At the end of the program, we shared various websites that we use. If you forget any of the sites, please click on the minutes.
